60 Years in the Baking: Celebrating Jamaica’s Delicious Culture

Happy 60th Jamaican Independence!

Jamaica became an independent country on August 6, 1962 after fighting for our freedom for many years. Independence Day is now celebrated annually with parades, concerts, and other festivities. Jamaicans also honor their past by commemorating the island’s history and heritage. On this day, we remember all those who fought for Jamaica’s independence and pay tribute to our nation’s rich culture and traditions.

Jamaica is also renowned for its rich culture, which is evident in its music, cuisine, and art.
