Black Restaurant Week: Atlanta

With Black Restaurant Week Atlanta formally underway, we’re excited to share the first secured coverage stemming from Golden Krust’s involvement. Golden Krust Fairburn was featured by WABE in Atlanta.

Reinforcing the fact that our food is cooked from scratch and made fresh daily, WABE spoke with Chef Davis about the early morning nature of his work and the labor of love that our menu requires. Our Braised OxtailBrown Stew Chicken, and Curry Chicken received specific attention. Thank you to Chef Davis for waking up before sunrise daily to execute our full menu.

Founded in 2016 by Warren Luckett, Falayn Ferrell, and Derek Robinson, Black Restaurant Week® is dedicated to celebrating the flavors of African-American, African, and Caribbean cuisine nationwide. Through a series of events and promotional campaigns, Black Restaurant Week’s culinary initiatives help introduce culinary businesses and culinary professionals to the community.

Golden Krust is the leading Caribbean Restaurant chain in the United States — known for family recipes of classic Caribbean staples, from Jamaican beef patties and coco bread, to jerk chicken, oxtail, and curried goat or chicken. Offerings now include vegetarian alternatives.
