Golden Krust’s National Jamaican Patty Day is observed on the first Saturday in August, annually. The month of August is significant to Golden Krust, as our first restaurant opened in August of 1989 in the Bronx, New York. Jamaica celebrates Independence and Emancipation holidays in the same month.
