Caribbean Music Awards Come to Brooklyn

The inaugural Caribbean Music Awards came to Brooklyn on Thursday night, taking place at the legendary Kings Theatre. Hosted by Wyclef Jean, and featuring performances by and awards for luminaries and icons of Caribbean Music, the event was not to be missed. Food and music are the driving forces behind the culture’s booming magnetism. To that end, the partnership of Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant and the Caribbean Music Awards was essential.
Performers and special guests included Spice, Machel Montano, Beres Hammond, Alison Hinds, Angela Hunte, Dexta Daps, Ding Dong, Jada Kingdom, Kes, Kranium, Rupee, Skinny Fabulous, Nailah Blackman, Romain Virgo, and Majah Hype among many others. A full house was on hand for the full throttle celebration of the Caribbean.
As sponsors for the inaugural celebration, Golden Krust was featured on all internal screens, red carpet step and repeat, and VIP tote bags.
