Comedy & Dance Performances Prove Strong Community Ingredients

Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant has been heavily involved in its community since its founding in 1989. We nourish not only the bodies of our neighbors, but also their minds through scholarship initiatives, charity work, and an ever growing expanding array of community engagement. In South Florida, we recently sponsored two events that meet this description and merit celebration.

Campion College Dance Society, one of Jamaica’s leading high school dance troupes, recently embarked on a tour of performances in the United States. Two performances took place in South Florida on August 5th and 6th. A final performance took place August 12th in New York City. Golden Krust was proud to be involved and help this talented group of Jamaican youth experience the world and share their gifts.

Comedians Majah Hype and White Yardie stopped in Coral Springs (FL) recently as part of their Majah Issues Comedy tour. Golden Krust was proud to sponsor this event and was glad to see the performers stop by our National Jamaican Patty Day Flavor party in South Florida the night before their concert.
